Operational Phase

  1. Reliability & Mission time (extension studies).
  2. Performance gap/stretch studies.
  3. Blowers/Fans malfunctions diagnosis and cure (vibration, noise, pulsation, lube/seal oil, thermal signature, aerodynamic performance).
  4. Best practices of blower/fan condition monitoring, operation and maintenance.
  5. Condition-based inspection & maintenance schemes and decisions.
  6. Pro-active performance appraisals of key parameters during steady state/transient modes to capture faults at embryonic stage before they turn in to full-scale problem that may lead to un-plan interruption in production.
  7. Estimation of system resistance curve.
  8. In-situ operating point on performance map (clean and fouled condition).
  9. Recycle and surge point optimization for parallel and series operation (as applicable).

  13. Root cause investigation of distressed components, failure and restoration (impellers, shaft, bearings, seals, casing distortion).
  14. Rotor balancing (in-situ & shop balancing).
  15. Control systems problems.
  16. Review/improvement of blower/fan supervisory instrumentation.
  17. Alignment (hot/cold) and inlet/discharge ducts forces & moments.
